For most of my knit life I have gravitated to neutral colors. Especially when creating designs with texture or lace stitches, I find that I prefer a neutral color to help those details stand out. At the end of 2017 I took an Instagram challenge that took a look at the colors you posted most often and it was a pretty tame collage of greys and cream.
I thought it was high time to start incorporating some more color into my fiber diet, so when I was putting together my spring & summer knit list I chose more colorful yarns. I'm starting out slow with muted colors of Quince & Co Sparrow & Kestrel in Tellin, Hyacinth, and Blue Spruce with the hopes that I can work up the courage to knit with this stunning Coral in Scout from Kelbourne Woolens.
